    Generally there is a waiting list at Southbrook depending on the type of Suite you are looking for. Please call and ask to speak to Community Relations Manager for more information at 905-456-3334.

    Monthly rates vary by the type, size and care an individual requires. Independent Living Area: 200 “A” $2,180.00 “B” $2,295.00 “C”$2,060.00 400 -$2,960.00 600 -$3,930.00 | Assisted Living Care Area: 400 Semi –Private $2,880.00 400 Private - $3,880.00 600 Private - $4,865.00. Second person monthly rate is $812 for any residence

    Yes, all meals are included in our monthly rate. Breakfast is a la carte and lunch and dinner offer two delicious entrees. Special diets can be offered upon request

    Yes, we provide a variety of recreational programs to all our residents. Please see our social calendar for an outlook for the month.

    No, our Suites are not furnished, but they are spacious and allow for a significant amount of furniture. You are encouraged to bring pictures, paintings, plants and much more to make it feel like home.

    Yes, we have an Assisted Living area that is monitored by our nursing department 24 hours a day for residents with special needs. Our Assisted Living area has its own social calendar for programming to suit their specific needs.

    Yes, we offer Guest Suite stays for people who are interested in perusing Southbrook. It may be a big transition for some people and they may feel more comfortable in trying a short stay in helping them make this decision. So come and book a short holiday at Southbrook and get the feeling of home sweet home.

    Will I be able to have family and friends in for a meal or visit?

    Yes, your guests and families are always welcomed at Southbrook. All you have to do is book a reservation with reception to ensure availability in the private dinning area. Pricing for Guests: Lunch : $7.00 & Dinner $10.00

    Yes, there are two different meals times, 1st & 2nd seating.  We also have assigned seating for our residents to enjoy a comfortable and relaxing spot to call their own.No, we encourage people to circulate and meet as many community members as possible. We have several larger communal tables as well where 6-10 people can sit and enjoy time together and we have smaller tables as well. There will be open spans of time for each meal time, not specific times or sittings that one must be there for. So you come to the dining room at your leisure anytime in that span for each meal.

    We have 2 meal seating’s that you get to choose from: 1st seating Breakfast: 7:45am Lunch: 11:45am & Dinner: 5:00pm2nd seating: Breakfast: 9:00am Lunch: 1:00pm & Dinner: 6:30pmEvery resident receives of a new menu weekly and yes we do have assigned seating for all our residents.

    Southbrook Retirement Community offers a variety of accommodation and services. Monthly charges include rent (as well as utilities and cable television), meals, daily housekeeping, basic care services and recreational programs.

  • Do I have to sign a lease?

    We ask all residents to sign a lease in order to ensure everyone is aware of their rights and the standards of the community. At that time, the charges for all services will be explained and provided in writing to ensure you are provided with complete financial information. However, you are not held to a long-term lease at any time, and we will request only 30 days notice if you wish to leave Southbrook Retirement Community for any reason.

    This is your home; you can come and go as you please. Southbrook Retirement Community combines freedom with comfort and convenience. With retirement living at Southbrook, you change your address, not your life.

    Southbrook Retirement Community offers excellent security. Every unit has an emergency call system that will put you in immediate contact with one of our registered care employees at any time of the day or night. Our Client centered care promotes safety, quality and continuous improvement of services.
